"Form Follows Function" and "Neccesity is the Mother of Invention" are both well known sayings that are at the root of all good designs. Here at Sear and Shield it is no different. We are BBQ and Grilling enthusiasts and when we encountered the same isues over and over with our grills we decided to do something about it and Sear and Shield was born.

It has been a seven year committment to solving various common problems, trying different things, figuring out what works and what doesn't and then testing, testing, tesitng. We wanted to be sure that every detail delivered on its promise, worked as designed and was durable.
